Who we are

Phonics Unpacked is an independent UK project that makes phonics help for parents. We aren't affiliated with or endorsed by any phonics programme, school or government body. You can reach us at [email protected].

Buying a pack

Our printable packs are sold through our Payhip shop. You pay and download on Payhip's site, and Payhip emails you a receipt and a download link. The price you pay is the one shown at checkout, in pounds sterling.

Packs marked "coming soon" on this site aren't on sale yet, and you can't pre-order them.

What you can do with a pack

• Print it as many times as you need for the children in your own home.
• Please don't share, resell or upload the files, or use them with a class or group. If you'd like to use a pack in a school, nursery or childminding setting, email us first.

If something goes wrong

If your pack won't download or open, is faulty, or isn't what the pack page describes, email us with the email address you used at checkout. We'll send you a working copy or give you a refund.

Packs are digital downloads that you get straight away. Under UK consumer law, the usual 14-day right to cancel doesn't apply once you've agreed to get digital content straight away and the download has started. This doesn't affect your other legal rights.

The free sound mat

The Phase 2 sound mat is free to print for home use. If a friend would like one, please share the link to the sound mat page rather than the file.

About our content

We follow the order many English schools use to teach phonics, but schools and programmes differ a little. Always go with your child's school. Our guides and packs are for practice at home. They aren't a replacement for advice from your child's teacher, or from a health professional if you're worried about your child's speech or development.
